Okay, so how about this?

Whoever's interested in being the person who answers HW questions (hmm, help me come up with a name for this 'job') send me an email or post it on here. Any upcoming section (unless I veto it) is fair game. I am willing to help you ahead of time so that you are comfortable enough with it all.
Extra-credit for doing this will be calculated by the class average for the opener on that section. So up to 9 points.

okay so I am the first person. do we have to post everyday to be able to answer questions for the next day?

daryl emailed me off the blog, but he's yet to pick a section.
hmmm. i actually meant this as an 'in-class' thing, where you'll answer questions in class.

oh okay. umm... i didn't mean like to post answers on the blog. i meant like posting what section we want to do everyday. um... i don't mind doing any section.

oops! ok. you let me know what section you are interested in. only conflict would be if it's the one daryl wants. but seems unlikely. we can talk about it tomorrow?

I haven't chosen a section yet, so it's alright if Priya goes ahead and picks a section. I don't know any of the future sections yet other than Taylor series, and that's in second semester. Priya can go ahead and make a decision without any conflicts.

When do we have to choose the section by?Is is a first come first serve basis? If we do the section, the extra-credit is to answer any questions the class has right? So our points come from the opener averages.

Yes, first come first served, basically. I'd say that you should be at least a week or so ahead so that it gives you enough time to make sure you're comfortable enough with it and have time to ask me questions. Yes, points based on the class average on that section's opener.

Hi! Since you said "you should be at least a week or so ahead" does that mean that we have to pick the section that well be taught deep into next week? If not then can I teach section 7.1 on Integrals as Net Change? The section right after chapter 6 test.
